Accessibility Policy

WOCDC is committed to equitable access and participation for people with disabilities, and encourage individuals of all abilities to participate.

We strive to remove and prevent barriers to accessibility in the planning and development of WOCDC events and programming as well as in the community in general.

Further, we commit to being open to continuously learning more about barriers to participation and implementing that knowledge in our program development, event planning, community development and implementation.

For more information, please see Ontario’s accessibility laws. Please note that our commitment does not stop at the policies and procedures outlined by these laws – we welcome education on principles and barriers that have not been outlined here that will assist in the ultimate goal of a barrier free environment.
